Wilson Benesch is an industry leader in the use and function of advanced composite structures. Over ten years of research and development are reflected in The Circle turntable and A.C.T. 0.5 tone arm which employ a completely unique design concept.
The non-suspended design utilizes unidirectional carbon fiber rods as principle supporting structures, an isolated motor assembly (tastefully hidden beneath the platter) and a high tolerance phosphor bronze bearing assembly. The A.C.T. 0.5 tone arm has a unique, curved carbon fiber arm tube (10x torsionally stiffer than titanium) and a kinematic bearing with completely stiction free movement. Azimuth and VTA adjustment are simple and straightforward.

We were not actively seeking a new cable line but when one of our best customers (Mr. Kevin Purdy) said, "you've got to listen to this stuff!", we trusted his ears and did so. The Audience line of cable products are unique to anything else we've heard.
The most obvious difference is their size. With a diameter similar to the lead of a pencil, it gets high marks in the WAF rating. Despite their micro size, these cables produce some of the most transparent, fast and authoritative sound we've heard. Silver does this and copper does that.
The Audience cable shares aspects of both conductors. The top end is extended, open and highly refined for a copper cable. The midrange is full and rich, (as one might expect from copper), however, it is also very transparent and dimensional; not forward sounding. The bottom end is tight, fast and extended with excellent weight and control; not what one would expect from copper.
